Lundyn's New Tent!
Well Lundyn has been doing pretty good telling us when she has to go potty, so Cole used that as an excuse to buy her a new tent/house. She loves it and so does Dash, they get playing so hard that they knock down.

A Few Family Pictures....

So we had our family pictures taken Tuesday, Lundyn wasn't cooperating at all, and then we had the thought, "let's have the dogs in a few!" Wow, we didn't get as many good ones with the dogs like we would have liked but we did get some worth keeping. We took over 400 pictures and it made it really hard to choose from.Posted by Ali at 10:18 AM 5 comments

- * Tell me when you like how I look. I'm not averse to flattery
- * Hug me, show physical affection. It opens me up to my feelings
- * I like a good discussion but not a confrontation
- * Let me know you like what I've done or said
- * Laugh with me and share in my enjoyment of life

- * not being listened to or taken seriously
Audreys as Children Often
- * feel ignored and that their wants, opinions, and feelings are unimportant

Potty time!!!
Lately we have kind of been doing the potty thing. Lundyn doesn't quite understand that she needs to tell me BEFORE she goes in her pants, so I have to catch her during the act. She doesn't really care for her small singing potty that I thought she would enjoy, but the big ones does the trick. All of you admiring the fancy pink toilet and tub I know you wish they were yours!

Our Sweet Sweet Jaquell...
As many of you may know, my cousin Jaquell who has the brain tumor, found out last Thursday that her kemo treatments were no longer doing any good! So the next step was to remove it. The doctors said on a risk scale from 1-10, 10 being the most dangerous her surgery was a 9. What a scary thing for a 14 year old little girl (little to me) to go through. They set the date for today, Friday the 10th.
As the week went on, of course you have so many thoughts running through your mind and cant help but think, "what if she doesn't make it?" So you begin to prepare yourself for the worst. Thursday evening our cousin Trever, whom recently returned from his mission wanted to give her a blessing. So he did so, the family met, and prepared for the hospital the next morning. We arrived around 11 am so we could see her before she went in.
My sister Mandee made a little book for everyone to write a little message for her so she could read them and always know how much we love her. As the book was passed around I glanced at the tag that her sister Jazzi wrote, it said," Jaquell I love you so much and you are my best friend! Love Jazzi" My eyes teared up and right then I looked up and the two were hugging. I couldn't help but to shed a few tears.
As I looked around at the family who was there to support her and her family, I realized how great our family really is. My two aunts from Washington and Montana flew in, lots took work off, and we had nearly 35 people waiting in the waiting room for her to come out.
After 7 hours of being in surgery we got the news.... everyone was quiet as we waited..... they got it! They removed the tumor successfully. She did very well, but she still has to go through a round of radiation to make sure they got the last of it. What a great example she has been to me and our family for being so strong and courageous and never giving up.
I would like to thank those of you who kept her in your thoughts and prayers through all of this, and for the awesome support from family and friends. It has meant so much to the family and really appreciated. Oh what a happy day for our sweet sweet Jaquell.

Same size?
This little guy is my cousin Tytan. These two are 1 year apart.... give or take a few days. He weighs more than her and eats more than her, and he can even beat on her. They generally dont play together much, at my house she is the boss, and at his house he is the boss! and that is that. But they both are so cute.
